A classical-fusion ensemble which features eclectic musical inspiration from colorful to chic and contemporary. Abilene unashamedly finds their relevance by looking to the past and reinventing the old. The group is led by Joshua Spacht
(piano / percussion), along with violin, vocals, cello, synths, and percussion creating a genre-bending style which marries classical idioms and instrumentation with modern techniques and production. Their fresh and captivating sound palette has quickly generated numerous placements on film and television through their partnership with Musicbed.
The group's haunting melodies, unconventional use of everyday objects for percussion, and knowledge of film scoring create an unforgettable listening experience!
